Baby Signs is “on the grow” with new classes that cover topics and ages well beyond the focus of our traditional signing agenda. The new program, called On the Grow™, offers fun and exciting classes for parents and children (from birth to age 5) to enjoy together. Meet other families while discovering easy ways to make the most of your child’s earliest years, all in the context of delightful games, songs, and activities. Delivered by our own On the Grow™ Educators, these short, 45-minute classes go beyond signing to draw from Dr. Linda Acredolo and Dr. Susan Goodwyn’s other two best-selling parenting books, Baby Minds and Baby Hearts, with topics as diverse as “tummy time” for infants and nature themes for preschoolers.

Rumble Tumble Tummy Time Class
Come learn how to make tummy time fun for your baby through engaging songs and activities in a play-class setting. At the same time, you will receive valuable parenting strategies to help you make the most of this important stage of development. Available as a single class or series depending on your location. Ideal for babies 1 to 6 months.

Baby Mind Time Class
Learn surprising things your baby can already do and how you can foster these early abilities. This interactive parent and baby class will introduce you to insights from Dr. Acredolo and Goodwyn's, best selling book, Baby Minds, all in the context of fun songs and activities. This class is ideal for babies 2 to 6 months and their parents to attend together.

Under the Sea
Learn simple signs for animals under the sea through fun songs, games and activities. Led by an On the Grow Educator, this class will also provide you with tips and strategies from Drs. Acredolo and Goodwyn's best-selling parenting books to help you teach your child self-control. Join us for a "whale" of a good time!

Vroom and Zoom
The theme of transportation becomes the "vehicle" for learning cooperation through fun signs, songs, stories, and activities. An On the Grow Educator will share insights from child development experts, Drs. Acredolo and Goodwyn, to help you with this important parenting challenge. A great way to get your child on board the cooperation train! Ideal for ages 1 to 5.

It's Potty Time
It's a potty party and you are invited! This class provides a fun way to introduce the concept of potty training within an entertaining and interactive class. Children will learn potty time signs, sing songs and hear stories about using the potty. There will be information for parents about the Baby Signs Potty Training Program with ideas for starting and staying motivated with potty training.

Look At Me, Look At You Baby Play Class
The "focus" of this class is infant vision development. Parents will be introduced to simple games and activities which will help babies' visual development right from the start. Ideal for babies birth to 6 months. One time class $15/family .

On the Grow Tot Play Class
Is your toddler on the go and ready to grow? Ready to play with others, experience simple art, sing songs, learn signs and hear stories but too little for pre-school? On the Grow Play class is a perfect answer, a course designed for toddlers before pre-school, ages 16 months to 3 years old. Each week we will have a theme with stories, songs, play and craft activities and a few ASL signs. This 6 week class session includes these topics: My Rainbow World, Vroom & Zoom, My Outdoor Adventure, Move & Groove, Mealtime & Manners and Under the Sea. Each week families will learn ASL signs within a theme (such as colors, transportation, outdoor items and sea animals). Signs and parent education information are paired with songs, stories, crafts and developmental activities.

Class price includes a materials fee which covers weekly handouts and giveaways, snacks and craft materials. Thurs. Jan. 19- Feb.23 9:30-10:15am
